POSTDOCTORAL POSITION
Available immediately, to study the cell-cycle regulation of a cloned
cell-division-cycle CDC6 gene required for correct DNA synthesis and chromosome
segregation in the yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae. The research project
includes the analysis of promoter and UAS DNA sequences as well as the genera
tion of monoclonal antibodies for in vivo detection of the CDC6 gene product by
immunofluorescence.
Ph.D. in one of the following: Molecular Biology, Genetics, Microbiology
or Biochemistry with laboratory experience in molecular biology and genetic
