I seem to remember someone announcing a database of Alu repeat sequences. However, I can find no reference to it in LiMB. Can anyone help please?

Martin, The Alu sequence database was compiled by Dr. Jerzy Jurka at BIONET and is available by anonymous FTP from BIONET (net.bio.net). Steps are underway to make this data available in Europe, but I am still not sure about the time frame of these efforts (not under my control).
