I need some advice on scanning densitometers..... I have a friend that has some $$$ left on a grant, but needs to spend (allocate) it in a hurry. She wants to pick up a quality scanning densitometer, for quantitating bands on autorads, PAGE gels, Agarose gels, etc. what companies have good equipment to offer, how easy is it to use, are there decent interfaces for computing equipment... what info do you have. Don't be bashful, and don't procrastinate... I need this info fast. Thanks for the help... if it is of interest, I will summarize and post the results....
