The UH server is running on an aged machine, and which now having intermittent, random memory errors which cause the machine (and server) to "forget" about the request it is working on. If you have been having trouble with the uh server in the recent past, or do in the near future, please *resend* your request to the server (genbank-server@bchs.uh.edu) with a copy to "archive-server-management@ bchs.uh.edu". This will allow us to track problems more closely. The machine will be replaced within the next several months and should be much more reliable after that. dan davison
