[net.micro] BBS Confiscation, atomic bombs, and secrecy

All of this discussion of atom bomb plans reminds me that Analog
published *real* plans to make a bomb that any fool terrorist could
follow.  Other than the fissionables (!?), all the listed materials
were commonly available in any slum near an industrial site.

My point is this: The Progressive might could have had many fewer
problems with publication if they had a more right-wing publication.
Of course, Analog's plans had absolutely NO classified material in it,
any more than the times that John W. Campbell had visits from the
feebies (FBI) just before August 6, 1945.  The writer had just used good
physics.

Astute readers might contrast these cases with the several AvWeek leaks
that the DoD has tried to shut down.
