Motorola gives away (I got mine thru a sales rep) a very nice book on
their micros, "Motorola Microprocessors Data Manual". It is 1100+ pages
long, and is filled with tech sheets on the 6800 and 6800-family support
chips, 687xx single-chip micros, 141xxx 4-bit micros, and the 68000 and
68000 support chips.

The front of the book gives an address:

	Motorola Inc
	MOS Integrated Circuits Group
	Microprocessor Division
	Austin, TX
	(512) 928-6800

Sorry - no ZIP.

Apologies if this reaches the net twice, our mailer screwed up and
(I believe) did not send it.
Yes, Motorola does sell data manuals. Their address is:

Motorola Semiconductor Products
P.O. Box 20912
Phoenix, AZ 85036-0912
(602)994-6561

They will soon (june) be publishing a new manual "8-bit Microprocessor &
Peripheral Data" (DL133) and they have recently published "Single-Chip
8-bit microcomputer data book" (DL132r1) ($6.50). These are apparently
replacing the 1981 "Microprocessor data manual". I guess the 68000 series
is only currently covered by individual data sheets (most or all of them in
the 1981 manual have since been updated). They also have a number of other
manuals (2 on ecl, several on transistors and diodes, linear, ttl etc.)
They also want 10% shipping and handling.

They have an "Update Service" for $35 per year. This is good if you are
interested in everything, they send you all new manuals, data sheets, and
application notes. The prices on the manuals they sent me with this totaled
about the $35, not mentioning the ream of data sheets they send quarterly.
Also available on microfiche.

Individual data sheets are available, free for one or 2 at a time, but they
will charge for orders of more than 10 (?) at a time.
