[bionet.general] BIBLIOGRAPHIC DATABASE

PESOLE@vax3900.csata.iatin.it (GRAZIANO PESOLE) (01/04/91)

I would to know if somewhere it is available a bibliographic database!
If the answer is no!, which is the most commonly used commercial DB?

Thank you in advance

Re: Biobliographic database

There are several bibliographic database which you, can get. The one I use
is SCIMATE edited by ISI (the editor of Current Contents). PROCITE is a more rec
ent software, however, I did not find it as convenient as SCIMATE. You can al
so use TEXTO and make adaptations for better use of bibliographic data.

Dear Graziano,
If you want a bibliographic database for the IBM pc try Simtel20
directories in <msdos.database>. If you hear about Simtel20 for
the first time try mailing a help message to trickle@imipoli.
          Bye,
                Oran.
