This year's annual meeting of the ASM is in Dallas from May 5-9.
I and another grad student are planning to attend. We would like to
know if there are other attendees who would be interested in sharing
housing so we can cut costs. Alternatively, we would like to know
of cheap housing which is easily accessible to the Convention Center,
buses or whatever public transportation is available. We would likely
be arriving Sat. May 4th, and leave either Thurs. May 9th or Fri. May 10th
depending on when we are supposed to do our presentations.
Also, if you know of people who live in Dallas or live there yourself,
consider the cultural advantages of having two students live in your
house during the convention who can tell you about the great outdoor
adventures of the Oregon country.
