Can anyone refer me to applications of immunology research to squamous-cell (cervical) cancer, especially recent or leading-edge projects or papers? I have a personal interest; a friend-of-a-friend had got about 18 months to go with this type of cancer, widespread and rapid. She's had all the rad treatment she can take, surgery has just been given up as hopeless, and chemo is looking like a last and probably useless (and miserable) avenue. This is a last-ditch situation; any recent developments in biotechnology which tinker with the immune system to tackle this particular monster will be of great interest to her and her friends. It doesn't matter if they are tentative, inconclusive, etc. We have very little to lose at this point. Any references will be received with gratitude. .............................................................................. : De Clarke, Computing Resources Mgr.
