POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCH position available September 1, 1988 for studies on the level of genetic integration between a marine mussel and its methanotrophic symbionts. This is a one year position at $23,196/year, with a possibility of a second year pending contract renewal. A Ph.D. is required with emphasis in molecular biology and biochemistry. Experience with the following techniques is required: Purification of cellular organelles or intracellular symbionts; CoT techniques; In-vitro translation; 2-D gel electrophoresis and autoradiography.
