5-Oct-1988 Post_Doc research Associates. Applications are invited for two post doctoral positions to investigate the molecular biology of the human malarial parasite Plasmodium falciparum. The first position, funded by WHO for two years, is to investigate genes involved in the motility and morphology of the parasite. The second position, funded by MRC for three years, is to develop recombinant systems for the expression of the DHFR-TS gene, involved in DNA synthesis and drug resistance. The successful candidates would have experience in the standard techniques of molecular biology, and would join a department that is particularly well equipped for this type of research. Salary within the 1a scale, starting Jan 1989 or earlier. Applications, including a CV and the names of two referees should be sent to Dr John Hyde, Dept.
