[bionet.jobs] Mol. Biologist available

MSALMINEN%FINNPHI@PUCC.PRINCETON.EDU (MIKA SALMINEN) (08/13/90)

Dear prospective employers,

I am a Finnish M.A. looking for a group abroad who might be interested in
employing a hardworking experienced molecular biologist. I would be interested
in going abroad (primarily to the States or Germany) to do my Ph.D. thesis.

My experience covers sequencing projects, especially those concerning
PCR-mediated direct sequencing. As part of my masters thesis I developed an
application for direct sequencing of PCR-amplified HIV-1 dsDNA. The method
allows the gain of sequence data in a week after you get the blood-sample
(or DNA). I have also been doing a lot of conventional recombinant DNA work,
including expression studies. Computers are not unfamiliar to me, I can handle
DOS and VMS mashines.

My tree majors are: Molecular Genetics, Biochemistry and General Microbiology,
I speak english und verstehe ein bisschen deutch.

I will send a complete CV to interested parties (wont post it here so the box
doesn't get too full).

My adress is: Finnish National Public Health Institute
