Studied second messenger involvement in signal transduction. Ca++ fluxes in human tumor cells were measured using Ca++ isotopes and Ca++ binding fluorescent dyes (fura-2 and Indo-1). My results were presented in an abstract at the annual Cell Biology meeting in San Francisco. Other responsibilities included tissue culturing, lab maintenance, and ordering laboratory supplies.
