B.S. in Computer Science, 3 years professional 
experience. Knowledge of molecular biology highly
preferred.  Experience with Unix, and Sun 
workstations in specific is highly desirable.

The Harvard Genome Laboratory is looking for
experienced programmers for biological software
development relating to genome sequencing. HGL's
initial project will be the sequencing of Mycoplasma
capricolum, and will require tools for databasing,
human interfaces, and genetic analysis. The successful
candidate will be able to demonstrate experience in
three or more of the following: Unix programming,
Macintosh programming, database development, X
Windows, Xview or SunView, experience in 'C' or 'C++',
FORTRAN and/or Pascal. A strong biological background
is preferred, but not mandatory. Interested applicants
