The ongoing discussion on the large applications software vs feature tables issue prompts me to introduce the GenBank BBS readers to the Computational Molecular Biology and Genetics group located at the University of Texas System Center For High Performance Computing, Austin, TX USA and headed up by Dr. Sarah Barron. As part of this group's fundamental mission, we have been, for the last year or so, developing/archiving/and integrating CMBG class software into a package to be known as GenTools.
