<> I seem to be unable to get consistent IC price quotes from distributors/manufacturers. Cases in point: I) 16Kx1 45ns Static RAM. 2 months ago I was told $10-$15 apiece. Today I was quoted $26 apiece by the same manufacturer. II) 16x16 100ns (clocked) NMOS multiplier: 3 different sources for the same part quoted $280, $136, and $65 apiece all today. The variations shown above may have significant impact on product tradeoffs depending on which prices (if any) are accurate. Anybody else have the same problem? Any tips on how to remedy it?
