Last week the first Matrix of Biological Knowledge newsletter was sent out to all Matrix conference participants and others who sent their addresses to the Santa Fe Institute. I had issued several calls to the list asking for physical mail addresses but got 5 replies. ( I don't know if those addresses made it into the final mailing list, sorry). The first hardcopy newsletter was a digest of notes that appeared on this list over the last 13 months, so list readers can still get the complete text from the bio-matrix archive-server (send the line "Subject: help" to archive-server@genome.lanl.gov (internet) or archive-server%genome%lanl.gov@CUNYVM (bitnet, if you have a well-behaved [i.e.non-IBM] mailer). Whether there will be a next hardcopy newsletter will be decided at a Bio-Matrix Executive Committee meeting, and will probably depend on funding. dan davison -------
