This is the last full day of BIONET's life; I would like to thank the staff at BIONET, especially Dave Kristofferson, for his assistance in starting and managing the bio-matrix distribution over the past two years. Without their help, a lot of folks would not have know about the Matrix. A hardcopy newsletter is in preparation and depending on a number of variables, you should see one by the end of November. Who will get one? Those that have joined the Bio-Matrix project, and probably those who have attended the meetings. At the moment there are 24 paid members, about 100 direct subscribers on the electronic mailing list, and several hundred other readers on various networks. Electronic distribution is *not* affected by membership. Membership only affects receipt the hardcopy newletter and other support activities for the Matrix. The membership cost is $25.00 for a regular membership and $10 for students.
