The second Bio-Matrix newsletter is now nearing completion (text, not layout) so you may have yours by Christmas if you've joined the Bio-Matrix project. Note: the Bio-Matrix archive-server is temporarily down while it is being expanded and re-written. Help from shell (/bin/sh) programmers out there would be appreciated. I'm a system hack myself. For those waiting for reimbursements from the Matrix meeting, we all are. When there is any news on that front I will post a note to all. If you have something to include in the Bio-Matrix newsletter, the next three or four days is the time to send it in to me (addresses below). Annoucements about meetings, newsgroups of interest to bio-matrix readers, and impressions of the Waterville Valley meeting are all welcome. But try to have them to me some time before Wednesday (Nov. 15th). Stragglers will probably be able to get in too, but no promises. This issue is going to be huge, so be prepared! dan -- dr. dan davison/dept. of biochemical and biophysical sciences/univ. of Houston/4800 Calhoun/Houston,TX 77054-5500/davison@uh.edu/DAVISON@UHOU "Darkness has a hunger that's insatiable, and lightness has a call that's hard to hear" -- Indigo Girls, "Closer to Fine" Disclaimer: As always, I speak only for myself, and, usually, only to myself.
