Several people pointed out that Alternate-Mailboxes is the way to take care of "cc" problems with "repl". But like Bill who writes below > I have the same problem. In addition I have other mail aliases in > addition to my normal login name (e.g. billr@tekred, games@tekred). > I tried using the "Alternate-Mailboxes:" entry in my .mh_profile > file [see mh_profile(5)] as it seems to imply that it will handle > this, but it doesn't seem to work. I'd be interested if anyone I too have the same problem. So what is the key to getting Alternate-Mailboxes to work? Thanks. ---------------------------------------------------- Electronic: sharat@cvl.umd.edu Arpanet/Domain ...!uunet!mimsy!sharat Uucp

I'd be interested if anyone Don't forget to add "-nocc me" to the "repl:" line in your .mh_profile (or, if there isn't a "repl:" line there, put one there that says "repl: -nocc me"). By default, "me" is just your username on the current host. Alternate-mailboxes assigns additional meanings to "me", but nothing happens unless you use the "-nocc me" flag. -Brent -- Brent Chapman Senior Programmer/Analyst capmkt!brent@lll-tis.arpa Capital Market Technology, Inc. lll-tis!capmkt!brent 1995 University Ave., Suite 390 Phone: 415/540-6400 Berkeley, CA 94704
