Subject: mh-e and repl: -query, and updating the folder from mh-e Summary: solutions requested Expires: Sender: Reply-To: tutiya@russell.UUCP (Syun Tutiya) Followup-To: Distribution: Distribution: usa Organization: Center for the Study of Language and Information, Stanford U. Keywords: mh-e,repl-query,updating Keywords: Here are two questions answers to which will surely save me time and efforts. I use GNU Emacs 18.50.1 on SUN3 running Berkeley-Unix4.2 and MH6.5. 1. Has anyone ever redefined mh-answer in mh-e.el so it can accept type-ins from the keyboard to repl -query? If you have -query in repl line in .mh_profile and in gnuemacs call mh-e, mh-show the message, and try to mh-answer the message, you will prompted to type in the replied-to category(from, cc or all) on the command line. Suppose you typed "from", then it would open a window for the reply message and there it would next ask you whom to answer. You would answer yes or no and I bet you are sure to see a composed header without To: field. I understand why mh-answer works this way but have no time and knowledge to redefine it. Hence the above question. 2. A similar question. mh-e does not update the folder so the messages read by mh-e are stilled maked as unseen in the folder, say inbox. Has anyone changed this feature? Thanks. Syun (tutiya@csli.stanford.edu)
