Is there a way to get the current date into the text of a draft, say from a components file? What I want to do is have a command which points to "comp" and uses a components file that looks like: headers go here ------- Date: current date goes here other text in components file I can't seem to find any way to do this short of using some combination of "sed" or "awk" and the "date" command to mung the file before giving it to MH, which is less than appealing. Is there a way to get MH to do it? (I'm using MH 6.4 -- can MH 6.5 do it?) --Dave Curry
