[First, sorry about the address-change message I just sent to "mh-users." It's already out of our mail queue, too late to kill it. I wanted to send it to "mh-users-request."] Okay, now for the question. We do a lot of refiling here -- some messages have five or ten links into different folders. We want to get a *unique* list of all messages in the folders. The printout should have one line per message (*not* one line per link!). I wrote a shell script that does pretty much what I want (see output below). It prints a "scan" line for the message, then a list of which folder/msgnums the message is in. But the script is slow and sort of a kludge. And, the output is sorted by the file i-numbers. Does anybody have a program that does a better job of this? Thanks. --Jerry Peek, Northeast Parallel Architectures Center, Syracuse, NY jerryp@cmx.npac.syr.edu +1 315 443-1722 --------------------------------------------------------------------------- SOME OUTPUT FROM "scanall" PROGRAM: 07/25 To:xxx@xxxxxxxxx.
