We are running mh-6.6 on an HP9000 Model 840 running HP-UX 2.1 (System V with Berkely additions). We have implemented the bboards facility and for the most part things are working ok. We have run into the following bug (feature?) and wonder if it is fixable. When a user calls bbc to read a bboard that he/she has not read before, the .bbrc file does not appear to be updated unless the entire bboard is read (or at least the last message). However, if the bboard entry already exists in the .bbrc file, it is updated correctly. Why is this so? If this has been answered ad nauseum before, you could just send me e-mail at greg@cs2.wsu.edu.
