I would like to put soem aliases in my aliasfile that do not expand to a long list which every adressee sees. That is, when I have a long list of adressees, I don't want everyone's mail to be cluttered with that list. Is there some way of accomplishing this? I may have asked this question before. I know I still have a problem. Sincerely, - Marshall D. In your header: To: Arbitrary-Name: mailing-list-alias; In your ~Mail/Aliases (or whatever you use): mailing-list-alias: ronnie, maggie, george, barbara Your recipients will see: To: Arbitrary-Name: ; You can also you your own set of (comma-separated) names in place of mailing-list-alias. This, of course, assumes your MTS (mail transport system) conformd to RFC-822. See the RFC for details. -Peter "Mailing lists galore" Marvit HP Labs
