A couple of questions for xmh experts with a little time for charity work to help out a rookie. I am using the MIT X Consortium R4 version (do not know which rev) I have a rather large key binding definition set which I got from this notes file and am quite happy with. (Even if I do not fully understand them.) Questions. 1) Signature. The signature I am taking about is the one that get tacked onto the end of the "From:" when the message gets mailed out. I have my Signature set in my .mh_profle and it uses it, but then it also tacks on my name and machine address on the end. Since I am on a diskless cluster, mailing things to my machine name causes problems. Signature: Sasun Torikian <sasun@hpxxxx> Result which is placed in From: Sasun Torikian <sasun@hpxxxx> <sasun@hpxxx55> 2) Other signature. How do I get my signature (like the one at the end of this note) to appear automatically when I compose or reply to a message. 3) How do I set aliases. 4) Spelling. One of my problems is my spelling. It would be great if I could filter anything I am composing or editing through a filter for spelling corrections. Something like the Insert filter when replying. Using emacs to edit might be an alternative, but I would prefer a filter. Thanks for any help. -------------------------------|-------------------------------------| Sasun Torikian | Hewlett-Packard | email:sasun@hpsad | Signal Analysis Division (SAD 5300) | Desk :Sasun Torikian /HP5300/A0| ATE Software Group | (707) 794-3091 | Rohnert Park, CA | -------------------------------|-------------------------------------| --- Designer Software by Sasun ---
