[comp.mail.mh] Problem with inc V6.7.1

We are seeing some strange intermittent problems with the new inc. It
seems as if inc is adding characters to the beginning of the first line,
and the subject line cannot be found. 

Here is what inc did to some mail:

	[Headers elided]
	
	aHas anybody got a copy of the C and UNIX Dictionary?
	
	I know there are a few around.

	r  Here you go.  I don't mind it, it just catches me by suprise.  Tnx
	for the stuff -- I'll play with it as soon as I get cops bug free, or
	when I have a spare minute, or in the next few hours, whichever comes
	first :-)

	s  Just in case, I saved your note to a file, then am sending
it using mh (I
	was sending it before with mush; I'll try forwarding it with that, too,
	to see if it matters.)

This is running on a variant of BSD UNIX. And the configuration is:
