WATSON, WATCH US NOW! For all the people who were complaining about lack of applications software- here is a quick rundown of some of what was announced today for the 3B computer family. HANDLE Writer/Speller An integrated word processor, spelling checker & database program. Microsoft(R) WORD The well known editor. dBASE II(TM) Specially modified for ATT-IS. "Applications developed in dBASE II on any microcomputer can be transfered easily to the Unix(TM) software format. PC-UNIX Bridge Allows the new AT&T PC and other computers that use MS-DOS(TM) to swap UNIX* & MS-DOS* data files with an AT&T 3B. MULTIPLAN(R) The Microsoft spreadsheet. Ingres Database from RTI Co. that supports a structured language, an interated data dictionary, and allows multiple users to acces files through one central database. And a couple of others. So quit your bellyaching. You bought a system that was targeted for OEM and VARs in March. Now in July you can purchase a system that is more suitable for an end-user.
