Howdy. I'd like to know how I can strip out long headers or specific header fields from messages received through mh. Haven't had much luck looking in the man pages. Thanks in advance for your replies. -Lou Rosenfeld PS I'm a somewhat naive user of unix, so your explicitness is much appreciated.

If you're just interested in not displaying these headers when you use "show", you can set up an mhl format file to do this. Add the profile entry: showproc: mhl and copy the standard format file (usually /usr/local/lib/mh/mhl.format) into your MH directory. Then make changes to your mhl.format; help is available through "man mhl". -- John Romine
