Have any of you had an experience compiling MH on RS6000's. The version
that came with the 6000 is:
version: MH [6.6 UCI] [RAND] [IBM AIX 3.1]
and it is the version currently running.
The version I compiled for our RT's is:
version: MH 6.7.1 #3[UCI] (northstar7) of Tue Feb 5 11:20:39 EST 1991
options: [BSD42] [BSD43] [BIND] [NTOHLSWAP] [MHRC] [SBACKUP='"#"']
[SENDMTS] [SMTP]
and for the Sun's:
version: MH 6.7.1 #5[UCI] (lexington) of Wed Feb 6 14:06:22 EST 1991
options: [BSD42] [BSD43] [SUN40] [TYPESIG=void] [NTOHLSWAP] [BIND]
[MHRC] [SBACKUP='"#"'] [SENDMTS] [SMTP]
I would like to compile this version for the RS6000. I have tried
compiling it using the SYS5 options using cc, and the BSD options using
bsdcc. Both without success, each time the compiler complains
miserably about errors in the code.
If anyone has had some success with this please let me know.
