There are a few that I know of, and other mh-users will contribute more. There's: vmh official MH distribution, curses-based, for reading packed (non-MH) mail folders. vmail curses-based, vi-like message browser which calls on MH programs to manipulate mail. Very configurable but simple. This was published on the net some years ago; since then I've done bugfixing and enhancements (like adding dist, sortm, and a rescan-to-match-mh feature). vmailtool - If you have a sun workstation, there is a sunview/tooltool-based mouse interface which gives you glitzy buttons to run vmail. I wrote this and it is quite popular among my coworkers at various levels of mail ignorance/wizardry. xmh X11-based mouse-based mh mail browsing tool. Pretty neat and very configurable, has moderate learning curve, but demands an emacs-style mail text editing interface. This last one is the only killer for me; when I edit, I think in vi command language, otherwise, I'd use xmh over vmail/vmailtool. I'd be happy to distribute my enhanced vmail and vmailtool to anyone who expresses interest.
