[comp.mail.mh] Dates problem in 6.7 and 6.7.1

rousseau@osf.org (John Rousseau) (04/11/91)

The problem is that inc and scan return dates of 01/00. I have just started
reading this group, but according to my archives, this question has been asked
before.
I have ported mh 6.7 and now 6.7.1 to OSF/1 without difficulty, but the lexical
analyzer doesn't seem to grok the date field. Could someone mail me the fix?

-Thanks
-John

I'm having the same problem with 6.7(.1?) on a NeXT. If someone could
e-mail me as well, I would greatly appreciate it.

I would deny this reality, but that wouldn't pay the bills...

The file:

	zotnet/tws/dtimep.lex

is not correctly processed by lex on the Release 2.0 version of the
system software on the NeXT. If you process it with lex elsewhere and
compile the resultant C program, it works just fine.

I have no idea what is wrong with the lex or the file it produces.
