Now that the mystery of the 01/00 dates has been solved, I have another question. On the RS6000's, MH version: version: MH 6.7.1 #38[UCI] (northstar105) of Mon Apr 22 17:20:42 EDT 1991 options: [AIX] [AIX3_1] [TYPESIG=void] [SYS5] [SYS5DIR] [BSD42] [BSD43] [ATZ] [BIND] [MHE] [MHRC] [NETWORK] [NTOHLSWAP] [OVERHEAD] [RPATHS] [SOCKETS] [TZNAME] [WHATNOW] [SBACKUP='"#"'] [SENDMTS] [SMTP] [SPRINTFTYPE=int] the time zone shown on date lines for messages originating from these machines, is really screwy. Here's an example: To: --- deleted -- Reply-to: irvin@northstar.dartmouth.edu Subject: Re: New NORTHSTAR Account In-reply-to: Your message of Fri, 19 Apr 1991 12:40:50 -0400 (EDT) . <Mc3lqG_1eVXq5lCJNc@northstar.dartmouth.edu> Date: Fri, 19 Apr 91 12:47:40 +22323328 From: irvin@northstar105.dartmouth.edu This was sent from an RS6000 (northstar105), and it shows the timezone as +22323328. Any ideas. This doesn't show up on the RT's: version: MH 6.7.1 #3[UCI] (northstar7) of Tue Feb 5 11:20:39 EST 1991 options: [BSD42] [BSD43] [BIND] [NTOHLSWAP] [MHRC] [SBACKUP='"#"'] [SENDMTS] [SMTP] or the Sun's: version: MH 6.7.1 #5[UCI] (lexington) of Wed Feb 6 14:06:22 EST 1991 options: [BSD42] [BSD43] [SUN40] [TYPESIG=void] [NTOHLSWAP] [BIND] [MHRC] [SBACKUP='"#"'] [SENDMTS] [SMTP] thanks, ----------------------+-------------------------------------------------------- Tim Irvin | Internet: irvin@northstar.Dartmouth.EDU Systems Administrator | US/Campus Snail: HB 6028, Kiewit Computation Center Project NORTHSTAR | Dartmouth College, Hanover, NH 03755 Dartmouth College | Ma Bell: (603) 646-2814 ----------------------+--------------------------------------------------------
