Say, Rich, you forgot about ``Not Two,'' which is the last thing Colin Newman has recorded for quite a while. It is basically of refinement of the off-kilter pop/noise (yes, I think he is pop, just warped) that Wire were doing on 154. I suppose his cover of ``Blue Jay Way'' was just a way of saying ``nyaah!'' to the trend-hopping critics. Mike Thorne was in Wire, but then became a full-time producer. He started off on a promising path, doing records with The The and Human Sexual Response after working with his old band. He must have lost it though; both debut albums that he recently produced, til tuesday and Bronski Beat, are limper than wet noodles. What happened ? -- ``Bob'' (Robert P.
