I have recently heard of a program called "decprom", available from a group called deccas or decus, that runs on VAX's, and compiles code for PROMS (PAL's as well?). Does anyone know of this program? Is it in the public domain? Does it run under UNIX? Is it useful? Please respond directly to me unless you have sufficient information might interest others on the net. -- Ken Turkowski @ CADLINC, Palo Alto, CA UUCP: {amd, decwrl, dual, flairvax}!turtlevax!ken

I believe DECprom is a product of Digital Equipment Corporation. It might be avaliable through DECUS, which is the DEC USers' group. It runs on VAXen under VMS. It will blast PROMs and PALs; it uses a JEDEC-format input file.
