Can you help me locate a source for a large-screen monitor? We wish to set it up in a classroom, slaved to a VDT, so that the class can watch the instructor's moves. The monitor should be as large as possible--25" diagonal if direct-view, monochrome, sufficiently high- resolution so that it can display the standard 24 lines by 80 characters per line in a clear and legible fashion. The boundaries of the display raster should be (adjustable to be) on the visible portion of the screen, so that the first few and/or last few characters on a line are not lost. Naturally, we should like the price to be reasonably low. Can anyone suggest a source for such an item? T. W. I can recommend the Electrohome series of large (23"?) monitors. We presently have one unit with another on order. The latter will be supplied with a long persistance phosphor for better graphics display. The unit fulfills all of your requirements as outlined in the message. Since it is a composite video input device, be sure you have access to a terminal that has such an output - some do but they are in the minority.
