The Department of Information and Computer Science at UC-Irvine has
the option of getting some Toshiba T100's very very cheap. WE're
considering using them for some special instructional purposes, as
terminal emulators (e.g., cheap terminals) and possibly for additional
text processing capability for undergraduate students.

(They come with a 14" color graphics monitor - nice large font.)

We're wondering if anyone has experience with the machines re.
reliability or special quirks that may make them difficult to use in a
stand-alone mode or as emulated terminals. Information on good experiences
with these machines would also be helpful. Toshiba never became a
market force, like Morrow, so user experiences are difficult to track
down.....

Thanks in advance...
