I've read the proposed R^4RS appendix on Scheme macros (syntactic extensions). A lot of the proposal seems to presuppose a knowledge of the realm of syntactic transformers, expanders, and so on. Can anyone recommend a reference or set of references which will help me to better comprehend the macro proposal?
