Date: Fri, 30 Nov 90 16:36:05 PST From: percy!data!kend@intelhf.hf.intel.com (Ken Dickey) Chris, I have been a member of both the ACM and the IEEE for years. I am planning on letting my IEEE membership lapse. Is there a (standard) reason to hang on to it? Thanks, -Ken Dickey No, the only thing you need membership for is membership in balloting groups, and I don't expect any more Scheme balloting until we revise the standard in 2-5 years from now.

Hello out there... Please excuse a potentially stupid question, but where does one lay hands on the latest Scheme standard documentation (is R^3RS the latest)? Is it available as a book, or from an ftp site, or something? Many thanks... Joe Lavinus -- =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= = Joseph W. How might I obtain a copy of the Scheme standard, preferably in electronic form? I'm serious about implementing the language. -Tom Boutell, boutell@brahms.udel.edu -- YOU THOUGHT HE WAS DEAD... BUT HE WAS ONLY SNORING... Call Burger King at 1-800-YES-1-YES and demand a vegetarian entree!
