The most informative answer is a list compiled by Jonathan Rees, last updated 17 February 1991 and sent to me by Brent Benson. The list references 21 implementations for various platforms. I'll be happy to share it with anyone requesting it. I went for scm from altdorf.ai.mit.edu [18.43.0.246] (anonymous). It is compact and ftps quickly.
