Our ethernet has been up and down for the past 7 weeks, and our client, (an agency of Uncle Sam) wants to know if this problem is being experienced by other Tahoe sites. Basically, we've got two Power 6/32 with ace cards and are running CCI's version of SysVR2. That's it. One day, it stopped working. Just about every piece of hardware on the net has been replaced. Now it has a tendency to go up & down during the day. Even when its up, nstat indicates more unanswered packets than I think is normal for a 2-node net, but nstat -s isn't really relative to much (divide bad packets into total traffic ??). We plan to add 4 more tahoes to the net, but I'm worried about performance (although it should only be a drop in the ether bucket.) Is anybody collecting info on CCI ether probs & also mpcc probs (we hear rumours.) Jay H. Phantom SysAdmin
