I noticed the article about net.general
going to pot, and Mark Horton talking about
posting netiquette again. I think it would be
a good idea if netiquette were sent to new
sites such as ourselves to prevent us from making
any mistakes. I agree that net.general seems to
be misused, but if people thought a little more about
the content of their news before they decided which
newsgroup to send to things like this wouldn't happen.
The purpose of net.general is 'General queries,
questions, announcements.', not for if you can't
think of a good newsgroup to send to.
