I'm in the market for a fast, "correspondance quality" printer to hook up to my C 64. The HP ThinkJet machine is neat technology (fast, high res, incredibly quiet, probably ultra reliable), but with a Commodore CPU (funny graphics characters, non-standard output, PETSCII, etc, etc.) I'm obviously a bit worried that I won't be able to find a suitable interface. (The ThinkJet is "standard Centronix parallel", but with God-knows-what control sequences and funny little HP conventions). Has anyone out there had any experience with the C64 - ThinkJet combination? Did it work???? Any and all comments gratefully received by Paul

The THINKjet 2225C comes with a Centronics compatible parallel interface, and has a mode in which it "will work with most software which expects one of the following printers: . Epson MX-80 . Epson MX-100 . IBM 80 CPS Printer . IBM Grapics Printer" It also "will work with most software which either does not specify a printer or specifies a Hewlett-Packard printer"
