<> A friend of mine is thinking of porting Idris to his companies MC68000 box, its currently delivered with CP/M-68K. Before switching over he would like to hear any comments people have about Idris. His main concern is at which level is it compatible with Unix (Rev 6 ,7 , System III, etc..). Any information would be appreciated. He's not on the net so I will forward replies to him. Thank You, John C. Antrosiglio AT&T-Bell Laboratories Holmdel, NJ 07733 houxm!hou2f!jca houxm!hotlv!jca Idris is a trademark of Whitesmiths, Ltd. CP/M is a trademark of Digital Research. Inc. Last I word that I heard was that Idris was reverse engineered from v6 UNIX. Erik E. Fair ucbvax!fair fair@ucb-arpa.ARPA dual!fair@BERKELEY.ARPA {ihnp4,ucbvax,hplabs,decwrl,cbosgd,sun,nsc,apple,pyramid}!dual!fair Dual Systems Corporation, Berkeley, California
