Has anyone managed to ksh-i running properly on an sgi machine? I tried it and the makefiles assumed (somewhat correctly) that it was being compiled on a System V machine. They happily churned along and produced a ksh that worked correctly but didn't have job control. The code has ALL Berkeley (not just the job control code) #ifdef'ed with "BSD". I'm about to dive into it to see if I can fake it into compiling a System V version with Berkeley job control and I thought I'd check to see if someone else might've already done the job for me. Hopefully I won't have this problem when we get ksh88. robert -- Robert Viduya robert@shangri-la.gatech.edu Office of Computing Services Georgia Institute of Technology (404) 894-6296 Atlanta, Georgia 30332-0275
