Is anyone in NeWS land familiar with some of the standard menu capabilities on a lisp-machine? In particular, TV:MULTIPLE-CHOOSE-MENU and TV:CHOOSE-VARIABLE-VALUES? I desperately need this functionality running in NeWS. In addition to the actual menu functionality, it is important to be able to invoke this from a C program (thus I need a CPS interface to it), as a simple function call, and the menu items need to be passed in at run time. I know this is all quite possible in NeWS, but my question is: has anyone done anything similar to this? I'll take anything. However, being a real novice NeWS hacker, I am quickly overwhelmed by the complexity of some of the stuff I've seen so far. Any additional comments are extremely welcomed.
