I was wondering if anybody knows whether programs such as dog redraw the scenery at a different position in response to the user's input or if they just set up a new lookat point. Is there any concensus as to which method is better/faster? Thanks! I am not sure what you're asking. Everything has to be redrawn, no matter what you do. The only difference I can see is whether you change your perspective with lookat or do your movement by changing translation, rotation, and scaling on the objects drawn. Personally, I prefer to use lookat most of the time, it makes most things simpler and easier to implement and understand. -- Brent L.
