[net.news.group] on the fate of net.announcements

     With regard to changing the name of net.general, how about
     net.notice instead of the longer net.announcements?

I agree that net.announcement, net.notice, net.world are not
intimidating enough.  How about something like net.important,
to hint to people that they shouldn't post trivial requests?
