Hi Netlanders, Been doing a bit of playing around with the sound capabilities of the Personal IRIS, and was wondering what software is available before I start bending my own code. Also does anyone have any references on computer generated sound? Hi Buck - You won't be too satisfied with sound that is only 8-bits wide. That gives "telephone quality" sound. 16-bits with linear encoding (at 44,100 samples/second) will give "compact disk" quality, which is certainly NOT the end-all in sound quality. But, for playing around, it should be a bit of fun. Best, -Mike
