Hallo, I have a question for the network people. Since three years I operate an ethernet based LAN with 5 IRIS 3100's, one 4D/70, three PC's and 6 terminal servers. Since that time we never saw any single network error. Two month ago we got a fibre optic link to our university network. That link connects via a bridge to our coax based yellow-cable. Since that I see lots of Ierrs and Collisions on the 'netstat -i' output of our IRIS'es. My question is: Is there a simple way to get more information about the reason and source of this errors? The errors occur during phases of "high" load on the ethernet (about 10-15% of the bandwith). It follows a snapshoot of 'netstat -i': Name Mtu Network Address Ipkts Ierrs Opkts Oerrs Coll enp0 1500 130.83 pc4 501286 36 96730 0 240 lo0 4208 loopback localhost 174370 0 174370 0 0 Any comments are welcome.
